units have the Hop
Bandwidth limited to 50kHz.
Selcall
Functions:
* Adds CCIR493 4 digit HF
Selcall encoding and decoding capability to ICOM transceivers.
* Responds to incoming
selcalls with a revertive tone and blinking display LEDS and audio tone.
* The Senders selcall number is stored in the receiving ICOM
radio, and the time in minutes since the selcall.
* On receipt of a selcall, transmits a local area alert on a
VHF
or UHF frequency (IC706, IC7000 etc) .
* Adds Codan syle Roger Beep
when PTT is released (emulates an NGT).
* Supports, Selcall, Beacon Call, Status call &
request, GPS call & request, Telcall and CLONE
Hopping
Functions:

The hop rate is user configurable between 1 to 10 hops/sec.

Hop band shape optimised for mobile whip antennas.
*
Over-the-air-sync
Tone Sync frequency hopping mode is supported.
*
If a UBLOX NEO6,7 or 8 GPS is connected, full stealth GPS
synced frequency
hopping
mode is supported.
The easy to use GPS
frequency hopping mode requires no
central synchronisation station, has no entry or late entry time delay
and requires no handshaking.
* JOEY
hopping modes are compatible with SKIPPY hopping modes.
JOEY Embedded
in an IC706 to make a fully self contained Selcall
and Frequency Hopping solution.
Joey
is not too difficult to solder into the radio, connects to the back of
the 13Pin DIN and CAT connectors.
And
not limited to the HF bands......1000khz wide hop band on Six-Meters is
not a problem.
JOEY now comes with a plug and play
radio interface lead.
