Crosspatch MkIII is a practical, effective and affordable solution for extending the reach of a conventional VHF/UHF network beyond the horizon using any HF transceivers.

Extends existing HF voice networks with VHF/UHF hand-held radios that are carried by field operators when away from base or their vehicle.

The unique, flexible VK5ZLR design and straightforward DTMF control commands, can extend existing HF or VHF / UHF networks into remote areas with minimal investment in new infrastructure.

Crosspatch will work with pretty much any SSB and FM radio combination, but is specifically tailored for ICOM amateur transceivers which support CAT commands.
With advanced functions, built in DTMF to CAT converter, and sensitive HF SSB voice detection circuitry.

Crosspatch enables the following:

Remote frequency and mode selction on ICOM HF transceivers.

Enables any HF transceiver to send a 4 digit CCIR 493 selcall from the remote radio.

Enables Roger-Beep on any HF transceiver.
